For each stock in today’s NSE F&O list (213 stocks), daily prices come from Yahoo Finance, cleaned with NSE’s own data: every price before the stock’s official NSE listing date is removed, as are bad rows and one-day price spikes. A day counts as a new all-time high when its high beats every earlier high, and as a new all-time low when its low falls below every earlier low. A sample of 551 dates was checked against NSE’s daily price files.
Prices are corrected for splits, bonus issues and dividends, so they won’t match the price printed on the day. Use them to compare, and rely on the dates.
